GoodKnight Consulting ("we," "us") is a US-based executive advisory firm. This policy explains what information we collect through goodknightconsulting.net and our events, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Information you give us: name, email address, company, and role when you fill out a form on our site — for example the newsletter signup, free resources download, speaking or strategy call inquiries, program applications, quizzes/assessments, or event and masterclass registrations. Some forms also ask optional questions (like your goals or challenges) to help us serve you better.
• Information collected automatically: standard website analytics data such as pages visited, browser type, device, approximate location (city level), and how you found us. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Scheduling and meetings: if you book a call, our scheduling tool collects your name, email, and time preferences. If you attend a webinar or online meeting, the platform may record attendance and, where announced, the session itself.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and our services are designed for business professionals.

How we use it

• To respond to inquiries and deliver the resources or services you asked for
• To send our newsletter and occasional marketing emails about programs, events, and resources (you can opt out anytime — see below)
• To schedule and run calls, webinars, and events
• To understand how the website is used and improve it
• To meet legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with (service providers)

We use trusted third-party processors to run the business. They may store or process your information on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Wix — website forms, contact management, and blog content
• Cloudflare — website hosting and analytics
• HubSpot — contact management (CRM) and email marketing
• Calendly — call and meeting scheduling
• Zoom — video calls, webinars, and masterclasses
• Google Workspace — email and business documents

We may also disclose information if required by law or in connection with a business transfer (like a merger or sale), in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality and standard analytics (e.g., understanding which pages are visited). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, most of the site will still work.

Email marketing and how to unsubscribe

If you join our list, register for an event, or download a resource, we may email you our newsletter and related offers.

• Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list.
• You can also email us at logan@goodknightconsulting.net with "unsubscribe" and we'll remove you.
• Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect emails we need to send about services you've purchased (like session confirmations).

How long we keep information

We keep contact information for as long as we have an active relationship with you or you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. If you unsubscribe, we keep the minimum needed to honor your opt-out. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal information. For California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) provides the right to:

• Know/access the personal information we've collected about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your personal information (subject to legal exceptions)
• Opt out of sale or sharing — note: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA
• Non-discrimination — we will never treat you differently for exercising these rights

Residents of other states with similar privacy laws may have comparable rights. To exercise any of them, email logan@goodknightconsulting.net. We'll verify your request (usually by confirming control of the email address on file) and respond within the timeframe required by law — generally 45 days.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we limit access to those who need it to serve you.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email.
